Robert Makutsa

Director

Robert founded Fanzclub in 2020 after organising various pilot event projects in the preceding years.
He has a great passion in performance and creative arts.


Robert has worked in the events industry for the past 16 years as an audio recording and mix engineer. He has worked on various productions including film and TV.


Robert is also a key advocate in initiating and promoting social justice. He has dedicated most of his time in helping the most marginalised in our society as well as raising the awareness .


Occasionally, Robert will be invited to speak at events and conferences. He is passionate about training and developing people to realise their potential. 

Aurore Carleton

Programmes Coordinator

Aurore has first-hand experience working with vulnerable people as well as being involved in promoting social causes and raising awareness.


She has previously worked with "Basiliade", homes for the most disadvantaged people who have contracted HIV and are facing exclusion and stigmatization.


Aurore has also volunteered as a caseworker working with Asylum seekers and Refugees here in the UK. She is currently a collective member of The Unity Centre .She loves to use her native French language to connect with asylum seekers whose first langauge is French.

Alex Sarkisian

Funding Coordinator

 Alex is a freelance coordinator and artist based in Glasgow. She was previously on the Transmission Gallery committee, has worked as an engagement coordinator at The Art School/GSA Students’ Association, and is currently a collective member of The Unity Centre and project coordinator at the Glasgow Zine Library.


 Alex is interested in the capabilities of creative-led spaces to reconsider their position, play with organisational autonomy, disperse institutional power and resources, and create opportunities for uninhibited learning. She has experience in No Borders action, casework, community engagement, art programming, accessibility implementations, fundraising and charity governance.
